Contracts Manager (Government & Aerospace)
About the Role
Monarch Space Systems seeks a Contracts Manager to support the administration and management of federal prime contracts, subcontracts, and teaming agreements across aerospace and space systems programs. Working under the Director of Contracts & Compliance, the Contracts Manager will handle day-to-day contract administration, compliance monitoring, and deliverable tracking across active government programs. Primary location is Cleveland, Ohio.
Responsibilities
- Administer prime contracts, subcontracts, and intercompany agreements in compliance with FAR, DFARS, and contract-specific terms for aerospace programs
- Track and manage contract deliverables, period of performance milestones, and modification actions
- Prepare, review, and process contract correspondence, modifications, and associated documentation
- Support export compliance processes including ITAR/EAR classification and license tracking under senior oversight
- Maintain contract files and documentation in compliance with federal records management requirements
- Coordinate with program managers and CFO on contract financial performance, funding status, and billing authorization for space systems programs
- Assist in the preparation of proposal terms, representations, certifications, and contract section L/M compliance
- Support subcontractor administration including flow-down clause compliance and performance monitoring
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or related field
- 5+ years of federal contract administration experience
- Working knowledge of FAR and DFARS
- Familiarity with government contract document management and compliance requirements for aerospace and defense
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment
- U.S. citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications
- NCMA CFCM certification or active pursuit
- Experience with both prime and subcontract administration in defense or aerospace
- Exposure to ITAR/EAR compliance processes
- Familiarity with contract management systems and CDRL tracking tools
