    Performance Standards & Mission Culture

Our institutional culture is defined by what we measure, what we enforce, and what we refuse to compromise. These standards apply uniformly across all levels of the organization.

    Mission-First Environment

Every activity, meeting, and decision is evaluated against its contribution to defined mission objectives. Organizational convenience does not override program requirements.

    Technical Accountability

Engineers and scientists are accountable for the technical quality, completeness, and schedule integrity of their assigned work products. Accountability is personal and non-delegable.

    Safety-First Posture

Safety is a design requirement, not an afterthought. All technical decisions incorporate safety analysis. Concerns are raised immediately and resolved before proceeding.

    Risk-Calibrated Engineering

We accept risk that is understood, bounded, and mitigated. We do not accept risk that is uncharacterized. Risk posture is documented, reviewed, and updated throughout the program lifecycle.

    Continuous Improvement

Processes, tools, and methods are subject to ongoing evaluation and improvement. Lessons learned are captured systematically and applied to subsequent work.

    Clear Documentation

Technical decisions, design rationale, test results, and anomaly resolutions are documented with sufficient rigor to support independent review, reproduction, and institutional knowledge retention.

    Direct Communication

Technical communication is direct, factual, and complete. Status is reported honestly. Problems are surfaced early. Dissent is welcomed when supported by technical evidence.

    Institutional Professionalism

Professional conduct, intellectual integrity, and respect for colleagues are non-negotiable. We maintain the standards expected of a federally contracted aerospace engineering organization.
