What Would It Take to Achieve Instant Acceleration?

Instant acceleration represents an extreme demand on energy and structure.

To accelerate a mass rapidly requires force proportional to both mass and desired acceleration. In practical systems, this is limited by propulsion output and structural tolerance.

    Current propulsion methods:

    • Chemical systems provide high thrust but limited efficiency
    • Electric systems provide high efficiency but limited thrust

Achieving rapid acceleration at scale would require:

    • Significantly higher energy delivery rates
    • Materials capable of withstanding extreme loads
    • Control systems operating with minimal latency

The limitation is not theoretical. It is practical.
